9/11
national holiday or normal day!!!!
u live, u learn, u what........... continue life.
"america land of the nut jobs." quoated by THAN!!
if it's such a big deal then why isn't it a national holiday. why do we work and live like nothing happened. others say get over it!!! others say NO!!!! remember it. remember the day, remember what they did.....
but then the same thing happened with the bombing ok okc!! some people didn't want to talk about it and some didn't want to remember it. but others wanted to morn, and some wanted to "celebrate" ( i use that term loosly and in dieanese!!!) the day an not let it be forgotton.
but the question i pose here is who is right....or is no one right. should it be a holiday..... or should we forget it. my sister gets mad about the whole 9/11 thing. but why is she mad...... because of what happened or because of the talk about it/ or just remembering it.
i personally think we should remember it.....and maybe make it a holiday. because as long as it's just a normal day.....we the people of america will treat it as a normal day.
SONG OF THE WEEK!!!!!!

September 11 will go down in history as December 7 has; people will remember what it meant for our country long after it happened with little more than a mention by a newscaster or a note on a calendar. It will always strike more of a chord with those who remember the day than those of future generations. Our children will see that day as a section in a chapter in their history books, an important event that changed the course of national policy, and little more. Should it be a national holiday? I say no. Should it be remembered? Of course. Let us observe it; let us honor the fallen, but do not cheapen the memory of such a terrible event by making it an excuse to get off of work.
what happened december 7th? anyone?
